Regarding Slab Waterproofing, Brickbat coba etc.

Recently, our field trials have shown that damp roofs can be made to dry successfully even by brushing Microdite-Cement-Water mixture (1:5:5) from the inside of the building. However, application of the mixture on the top of the slab extends the life of the treatment.

If you intend to go for brickbat coba on the slab, BBR Microdite can be mixed upto 2% of the cement used in the making of the mixture (aggregate) ie.,for 50 Kgs. (1 bag) of cement 1 Kg. of Microdite can be mixed.

However, the slab surface should be brushed previously with a 2 -20% mixture of Microdite (0.1-1:5:5) to take care of any already existing leakage in the slab before going for brickbat coba. The percentage is decided on the basis of the leakage condition of the slab.

Excessive Salt Problem On Walls
Where there is excessive salt problem on the walls, i.e. where there are salt deposits, it is better to remove the wall plaster in the affected area completely, then brush with 20% of Microdite-Cement-Water mixture (1:5:5), replaster the area, again brush the new plaster twice with the mixture & then go for regular wall painting after the plaster is fully dry.
