If
we say that our Waterproofing product, BBR Microdite is the best in the
world you will seldom believe it.
As
a matter of fact you should not believe it.
Hence,
we have given below a few Fire Tests (Agni-Pariksha) which will prove to
you that our claim is fully justified. Please be patient enough to read
through the following test if you are one of the many who have burned their
fingers by purchasing a Waterproofing product from a reputed company and
totally disappointed by the results.

Test - 1A
Water
leakage can be stopped totally if this procedure is followed. However,
one has to ensure, that the leakage is not due to concealed water pipe-lines,
broken water-traps or cracked concrete slabs. If this is one of the reasons,
it should be dealt with separately before Microdite treatment is given.
Prepare the Microdite mixture ( 1:5:7 i.e. 1 Kg of Microdite mixed
with 7 litres of water and 5 Kgs. of cement ) and pour it into the bathroom
after removing the cement pointings (joints) between the tiles using a
pointed tool and temporarily plugging the water outlet. The level of the
solution should be about 1/2” above the highest floor level within the
bathroom. Generally, a bathroom of the size 4’ x 4’ requires about 1 Kg.
of Microdite. Again, this depends on the slope also. The solution should
be allowed to stand overnight i.e. for about 8-10 hrs. During this period,
Microdite solution will seep through the pores & channels of the concrete
structure causing leakage & plug all of them. First, the leakage
may increase & then gradually decrease until finally it stops completely.
This process takes only about a day. On the following day, open the water
outlets closed earlier and wipe the floor clean with a cloth. Refill the
opened up joints between the tiles with a cement paste prepared with 2%
Microdite. Let it dry for another 6 hours. No permanent cement deposit
or staining will take place during the overnight treatment. If coloured
tiles are used, it is preferable to use white cement instead of grey cement.
This is to prevent the staining of tiles and white cement pointings. But,
the performance of Microdite will remain the same whether the cement used
is white or grey. You are going to be really surprised at the result.

Test - 1B
The
procedure is the same as followed for bathrooms. The W.C. Pan should be
separated from the suction area with sand stoppers to prevent the flow
of the solution into the pan and getting wasted. The Microdite - cement
solution should be poured outside the pan area and be allowed to stand
overnight.

Water
tanks should be drained and the inner surface must be cleaned free of fungus
and any slippery material using a wire brush and a piece of cloth. If the
plaster is very smooth it should be rubbed with a rough stone to enable
the surface to absorb the solution efficiently. A first coat with a low
percentage of Microdite should be given followed by a second coat with
a higher percentage after a minimum time interval of 4 hrs. and left overnight
for drying (the time interval between the two coats can be even increased
to few days; however, not more than 4 days ). On the following day the
tank should be cleaned well by flushing with plenty of water before it
is filled for domestic use.
First
coat : 2% Microdite, i.e.100 gms. of Microdite+5 kg. of cement+5 ltrs.
of water.
Second
coat : 1kg. of Microdite + 1 kg. of white cement + 5 ltrs. of water.

Test - 3
Soak the POP
layer with sufficient water, and brush with a mixture of BBR Microdite
in cement and water. Water percentage can be increased if drying is very
fast leading to lump formation. This may happen when the room temperature
is very high and the humidity is very low.
Suggested
Percentage of Microdite : 2%. i.e., 100 gms. of Microdite + 5 kg. of white
cement + 5 - 6 ltrs. of water. |
